Are any Cheesecake Factory desserts vegan? ›

While The Cheesecake Factory does offer desserts that aren't cheesecake, none of these options are vegan. You can, however, order a side of fresh strawberries (hold the cream) if you want something sweet after your meal.

The Cheesecake Factory is well known for its tasty complementary bread. While not all bread options are vegan, their Sourdough bread is a delicious exception. Just remember to skip the butter or request olive oil with pepper for a plant-based dipping option.

If you're in the mood for something meaty, the Impossible Burger is your best bet. The entirely plant-based sandwich is piled high between two special sauce-slathered buns with an Impossible patty, melty vegan cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onion.

Cheesecake Factory does offer another veggie burger option made from a blend of brown rice, farro, mushrooms, black beans, and onions (yum!). It's topped with vegan-friendly ingredients like avocado, tomato, arugula, and pickles.

As such, it is not strictly vegetarian or vegan by default. Customers who want to avoid cross-contamination with meat products can ask for it to be prepared separately, in an oven or a microwave instead of on the grill. Customers who want to make it vegan can ask for no mayonnaise.

Mascarpone is categorized as a cream cheese, but it is different than what we know as “cream cheese” in America. Mascarpone is made similarly to American cream cheese, but it uses a base of whole cream rather than milk. Like cream cheese, it is a fresh cheese that is not aged before it is eaten.

You'll want to wrap and package the cheesecake well before freezing. “If sliced, cover the sides of the cut cake with a strip of parchment paper, which will keep the pieces separated, prevent sticking and messy cuts,” David says. Double wrap in plastic wrap, then in foil, to prevent freezer burn.
